All my friends seem to be getting cheap car insurance but i cant seem to find it lol, im 17 and i know its expensive but people say they find it for 1.4k or 1.5k which id be happy with but im getting quoted 5k (and dont say what type of car is it!!) cause i know all that

Insurance is always cheap when someone else pay it for you... say a parent. Don't kid yourself... their insurance is not cheap.
you literally have to be anal about everything, i.e garaged, your an accountant not a student ;)....the only way around the ridiculous prices is to go on your parents insurance BUT make sure you register the car in their name. Otherwise, a 1.1 or a 1.4 corsa and it will cost you around £3000, or you can get a group 1 car but that will still be at least £2500
Hello There are a couple of things you can do to lower premiums. Restricted mileage. Higher Excess. Try getting a quote with your Mum or Dad added as a Named Driver. Try your details as you did before but enter your address as next door to one of your friends, This will see if you live in a higher risk area than your friends. Andy C
