  1. An old Japanese car, with less than 1,300cc. Avoid old French cars, very unreliable. Suzuki Swift, Nissan Micra.
  2. Seat Ibiza 2009 model VW Polo 2011 model
  3. Insurance is expensive for teens in the UK. Even the smallest cars like those you've mentioned will cost £3k+ to insure.
  4. Corsas and Micras. Use parkers.co.uk to check insurance groups. Try to get a car insurance group 3 or below,
  5. The Fiat should be pretty good but why and go far something no higher 1.4 or preferably 1.2 for the cheapest deals.
  6. Go for a renault clio 1.2. Very reliable, requires little maintenance and is cheap insurance and so on. It is also very good on petrol and has some cool features. Trust me, this wont let you down. Also go for a car no older than 7 years if possible and whilst low mileage can be good a car that has not been driven enough (mileage too low) is far worse. Also buy from a reliable seller if possible and be sure to shop around. Take the car a test drive and make sure it feels good to drive. If possible get a friend who has been driving a while to look at the car and try talking the dealers down on price as they will ALWAYS drop the price. Other cars: Citroen Saxo and if your girly then maybe you might like the Ford KA. Hope this helps.
  7. No cars really cheap to insure ppl tell u the older u get and the more ncb u get it gets cheaper and even that's rubbish I have 4 ncb and 26 and my insurence is 1800 for the same car that cost me 1 k the year b4 to insure with younger age and less ncb
  8. fiesta corsa mazda2
  9. Getting insurance as a teen is pretty hard because the rates are considerably higher than if you were older, so that limits you and means that you have to take alot of different measures to make sure that you are getting the right deal for you. Basically, when it comes to choosing cars the rule is "the smaller the better" this means it will end up costing you alot less than if you had some form of 4x4 or family car. A small tip is to utilize comparison websites, they are there to save you money so why not use them? they are pretty good when it comes to insurance and you can often save alot of money monthly if you do choose to go down the comparison website route.
  10. A car insurance policy is based upon ... Make and model of car Engine size Modifications Address where vehicle is kept Whether it is kept in a grage/driveway/on street Gender of driver Age of driver How long the driver has had their licence Whether the driver has had any previous accidents Whether the driver has had any previous convictions Who owns the vehicle Whether that person has any No Claims Discount ... and much, much, more. Too many variables. Instead of asking random people to guess a figure, you're best just using a comparison website.
  11. Hi! It can get very confusing with so many companies out there, I admit! I found the best choice at the site cited below. They really indicated me one of the best. I got an insurance from them and thank God I needed it just once until now. It's not something you really wan to use, but when I needed them the service was great, they were fast, and honestly, it's the cheapest I found...
