How a car manufacturing company allocated new cars to the customers?
Is it true that a new car with a specific engine number and chassis number is directly allocated by the manufacturer to a customer and then is sent to the dealer for handing over to the customer? Is it true that the dealer has no role in distribution?

- When a customer "pre-orders" a car, that order is sent to the manufacturer, much like an order slip is sent from the waitress to the cook. All of the "non-standard options" that were ordered will become embedded into the VIN (vehicle identification number) on the Assembly line.
- The dealer takes the order and sets the final price. Then places the order. Then the manufacture builds the car then ships it to the dealer that ordered it. The dealer has EVERYTHING to do with distribution!
- its a false
