How to register a new car I just bought?

I live in Nebraska, and I just bought a new car. What does the courthouse need from me to transfer the registration from my old car to my new car?

  1. your drivers license, the title signed by the seller (person that sold you the car as shown on the title) or if purchased from a dealer the title application. Proof that the sales tax has been paid or the cash to pay it at the time of registration. The signed bill of sale from the person or dealer that sold you the car. The fees for registration and the license plate and its tags. Proof of insurance (which may have been filed by the insurance agent electronically. If your not going to drive before the 1st of Jan, wait till Jan 3rd to register and you may save some money. You may need to wait a long time in line at the registration counter so take some patients. Registration agents really make few mistakes but do not have a reputation for speedy service and in some locations are not considered the most pleasant folks to work with.
  2. Go to a forum about cars. Many people there are professional. And then you can also consider searching for a car cover to match your car. You must want to give it more care to keep it new and beautiful. Is that true? Go there: http://www.thepandacover.com
