2. Malky is telling you the truth. If your high school offers auto mechanics, sign up and be the biggest nerd in the class. You will learn things that will be useful all your life.

4. Get an auto apprenticeship and learn the correct way.
5. Join a Honda Civic Forum... you'll learn quite a bit about your specific vehicle. In the mean time stop by your local library and look around in the automotive repair section for some books. Automotive Encyclopedia is a great overall learning book.. There are many others as well... Good Luck..

Start with a mechanic course at a good Votech, get your certifications, and get some experience behind you, a really good mechanic is hard to find, when you work on peoples car don't try to blow smoke up their a**! You will find someone like me, who knows about cars but doesn't want to work on them all the time, and will tell you what you are full of! Be the best, most honest mechanic you can be and you will have all the work you want and learn everything you want to know and then some!
7. youtube, talk to mechanic, buy books on specific cars. If that is not enough.... GOOGLE IT!
