  1. Never heard of a car that was 800$. Try saving up to like , 2500$ and buy a Old Corolla.
  2. well for 800 dollars you will not be buying a car worth modifying and the money you have for modifying will have to be used for repairers most likely but the cheapest cars to modify would be the Honda Civic and Mitsubishi eclipse.
  3. So you are trying to find a potentially fast car for 800 Buck?Hmmm at 2003 I bought a 1988 Mazda 626 2.3L turbo for my first car (pretty fast), and it cost me $1500, I don't think 800 bucks will be enough for a decent car, well you could get a 1978 datsun SSS, My friend used to own one, it's 1500cc Double Barrel Carburetor 115Hp (new) pretty fast for an old car. But I'll doubt you can find it on sale today. Or try saving up to 1300 and you might get from some dealer selling a Toyota Corolla Levin 1986 (A.K.A. AE86/ Trueno), it is one of the cheapest good drift cars around, and if you are lucky meybe the dealer doesn't know it's true potensial.
  4. There aren't many cars that are good for modification that can be had for 800 bucks in good running order. IMO, your best bets would be any Fox body car other than a Mustang. Fox mustangs are increasing in value, and a decent one is unlikely to be found for 800 dollars, but you might find a Crown Victoria, LTD, Fairmont, Thunderbird, or Mark VII for that kind of money, and they'll take most of the same engines and parts. Civics have a lot of support available, and you might find one on its last legs for 800 bucks. If you're planning on pouring money into it later, that might be a decent idea. 800 dollars would buy a rolling shell for a lot of performance cars, maybe. But not a runner. You would be a lot better off saving up around 2 grand if you want something that can actually be made to perform. For 800 bucks you cannot be picky enough to get what you want here...you will be lucky to get a car that will get you from point A to point B reliably.
