What car (make and model) is easy to modify?

I'm about to buy a car, and I need one that is easy to modify. I mean I want to change everything, so I can almost fly down the street(new engine,turbo,mufler, and all that good stuff). And I want to make it look cool with body kits. What car is most compatible with a lot of upgrades?

2. Everybody in the world modifies any Honda. They are very easy. Or even a Cavalier or Cobalt now. Go for something different. The Scions come with a lot of choices so you can modify it before you even drive it off the lot!
3. honda or acura. namely the civic or accord and the acura integra. with the parts available today, no other manufacturer has more aftermarket products than these three cars. with the exception of your mustangs and camaros, these cars have EVERYTHING you can possibly want. everything from body kits, mufflers, engine tuning, chips and tons more sh*it. especially with the Hondas, you get decent gas mileage and a wide array of after market products. if you want something cheap and easy to modify then get a civic or accord coupe. if you want something that looks a little cooler and a beefier engine, get the integra. DO NOT GET A SCION OR A BUG. they're crap and look like crap. everyone mods hondas but they do it for a reason. if you buy a cavalier or cobalt with the intent to mod it then get the beer stained wife beater and trailer park home to go with it.

5. Honda's are probably the easiest, parts are readily available. But do us all a favour and go for something a little different. What about an rx-7, or an older Nissan Z? A civic would be easy, but no character.
6. That depends on your budget. Most imports pretty expensive to build but they alot of fun to build when getting lots of horsepower out of 4 cycl. But if you are on a tight budget might think about something with a v-8. I perfer the 87-93 mustangs. They fairly in-expensive to work on and get good power to the pavement. You can also find lots of used parts from variety of vehicles that will help upgrade the mustang too. example you can take axles from ford ranger rear end and convert to 5 lugs. or take a lincoln mark 8 suspension, complete, and it bolts on and is the same used on cobra mustangs... there is alot of things you can do,,, just depends on you budget and availablity of things around you
7. there are so many different cars out there that can be modified beyond dreams reach. the most un obvious ones are extremely modifiable. but in a search for speed and power while having stunning lines the VW Jetta and Golf GTI are excellent choices. These cars are built to tight specs and are some fast cars off the lot. Other great bets, are the Ford Focus, Chevy Cobalt, Dodge Neon SRT4, Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX 1995 preferably, Honda Civic, Subaru WRX, Mitsubishi Lancer
